Terms of Service

Screen is a screen-recording service operated by Input Logic Inc. ("we", "us") of British Columbia, Canada. By creating an account or using Screen you agree to these terms.

The service

Screen records audio and video on your Mac, uploads recordings to our servers, transcribes them, and lets you review and share them from the dashboard. The service is provided as-is; we work to keep it available and fast, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Your account

You are responsible for your account credentials and for what is recorded with your account. Only record content you have the right to record — including obtaining any consent required where you are when recording other people.

Acceptable use

Don't use Screen to record, store, or share content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or harms others. Don't probe, overload, or interfere with the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Plans and billing

Paid plans (Pro, Business) bill monthly through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. Prices are in US dollars; applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. Each plan includes a monthly recording allowance (Free 30 minutes, Pro ~50 hours, Business ~200 hours); recording is paused when the allowance is used up and resets at the start of the next calendar month.

You can cancel anytime from Manage billing on the billing page. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.

Refunds

Subscription charges are not pro-rated or automatically refunded when you cancel mid-period. If you believe you were charged in error, email support@inputlogic.cawithin 30 days of the charge and we'll make it right.

Recording retention

Recordings are kept 7 days on Free, 1 year on Pro, and 5 years on Business, after which they are deleted automatically. If you downgrade (or a payment ultimately fails), your previous plan's retention continues to apply for 7 days before the new plan's retention takes effect. Deleting a recording, or your account, removes it as described in the privacy notice.

Termination

You can delete your account from settings at any time; this cancels any active subscription and removes your recordings and account data. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms, with notice where practical.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Screen is provided without warranties, and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a reasonable notice period.
